about

This album is a love letter to my three knuckleheads: William, Wyatt and Ceci. It is not, however, just a record for kids. I did my best to make it so all ages could enjoy it. It contains traditional jazz, country, punk, folk, and dance tunes. Of all the music I have made through the years, this may be the closest snapshot of my artistic self. I am comfortable making goofy songs; its my jam. Enjoy.

credits

released May 12, 2020

Although I wrote all of the songs the help of the following players was an inspiration and made every song better than it would have been on my own: Alex McMurray - guitar, Washboard Chaz, Jason Jurzak - Tuba, Diako Diakoff - piano, Eric Belletto - trumpet, Mac McCann - trombone, Steve Calandra - cowbell, Rick Huckill - trombone, Sneaky Pete - mandolin, mandicello, and banjo. I also must thank Michael Stalios Mehiel for recording "I Want Some Water," "Nappy Wappy," and "T-Roy's Pirogue" and Ratty Scurvics for recording "Eat Your Toes." Thanks as well as Bj's Lounge for letting me record the piano during the pandemic. Ultimately, thanks to everyone who has been a help to me and my family over the years. You know who you are!
